Mrs. Fountain graduated from the ninth grade at Pollard McCall Jr. High School and then from Flomaton High School. She graduated from Jefferson Davis Community College with an Associate of Arts degree and later attended the University of West Florida where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Middle School English and Science. She received a Master of Arts degree in Library Media Education from Alabama State University.

Mrs. Fountain's educational teaching career began at Jefferson Davis Community College where she ran a developmental learning lab and taught developmental English. She came to Pollard McCall in 2000 where she serves as the Library Media Specialist and a resource teacher for kindergarten through eighth grade.

She is married to John Robert Fountain and has three children. She enjoys reading, sports, and spending time with family and friends.
