Auburn University 1999 - 2002 (Elementary Education)

I stated as a class reductiion teacher in 2007, teaching kindergarten. I then moved with that class to first grade and then onto second grade. I have taught Kindergarten for 5 years, First of 1 year, and second grade for 8 years.

Hi, my name is Heather Kirkland.  I have been a teacher at PMJH since 2007.  I have taught kindergarten, first grade, and second grade.  I graduated from T.R. Miller High School in 1997.  I attendend Jefferson Davis Community College for 2 years and then I moved to Auburn, Alabama. I received my Bachelor of Science degree for Auburn, University in 2002. War Eagle!

Not only am I a teacher, I am a wife and mother. I am married to my wonderful husband Jeff,  We will celebrate or 20th wedding anniversary in July. We have 3 great kids together.  Madison (18) is a senior and is getting ready to graduate and head off to college in the fall.  Maegan (16) is a junior.  She love to preform.  He most favorite roles to play were, "Scout" in To Kill a Mockingbird and "Dorthy" in The Wizard of Oz. Matthew (14) is in the 8th grade.  He is on the high school swim team.  They just won the State Championship for the 3rd year in a row. (1A-5A)

As a family, we love to travel and spend time with the family. We are huge lovers of DISNEY!

In my spare time, I love scrapbooking, arts and crafts, and decorating!
